The school archive contains many interesting documents which chart St Mary’s history since its foundation. Among the most precious is a series of diaries which began when Miss Matthews became headmistress in 1915. The diaries follow the day-to-day life of the school and are irreplaceable. In order to secure their content for the future the CGA committee has most generously funded the digitisation of these diaries. An additional benefit is that we are now all able to turn the pages and catch a glimpse of school life from up to a century ago. This is a wonderful resource which we hope you will enjoy looking through.
